Dave, a true outdoorsman from Northern Ontario, spent his days playing hockey, fishing, and planting trees to save up for adventures. Meanwhile, Krystle - a ray of California sunshine with her cheerful spirit - grew up amidst shopping sprees, Disneyland adventures, and the warmth of her close-knit family. Worlds apart, right? But fate had a funny plan! Dave's wanderlust brought him to sunny California, and boom - they clicked like two perfect puzzle pieces. Best friends from the start, Dave and Krystle are all about laughing their way through life, cherishing their families, and showering their awesome husky, Kaia, with love.

As many of you know, I LOVE all things Disney. Obviously, this was a much needed step in our relationship...Could Dave survive a KRYSTLE day in Disneyland?

For our first Disney trip, I didn't want to scare him off so I gave him 2 options, 1. Chill Disney or 2. DO IT ALL DISNEY. Dave didn't hesitant a second and said "DO IT ALL." It was in that moment, I knew he'd be a keeper. ;)

However, little did Dave realize that he committed to a full 12+ hr day of rides, shows and endless walking. To this day, who knows how he manages to survive my Disney trips but he sure passed the test with flying colors! <3

Dave is such an incredible person and I can see why because his family is just as awesome. I am so excited for our future and expanding our Disney Days to the WHOLE family!

In the early days of our budding romance, I knew that Krystle was someone truly special but I needed to make sure she could pass the ultimate vibe test… downhill skiing. Somehow I managed to convince Krystle to dive headfirst into this adventure. The fact that "Santa" fortuitously gifted her with brand-new skis, winter gear, and a ski pass for Christmas that year undeniably aided my cause.

Through a combination of persuasion and a touch of tequila, I convinced Krystle to try her first downhill run. I had to bundle Krystle up in what felt like the entire winter wardrobe section of a department store for warmth. Determined Kryslte pushed through the adversity and quickly progressed all the way up to skiing her first Double Black Diamond ski run in Lake Tahoe last year.

In those snowy moments our love story unfolded. Krystle effortlessly passed the vibe check, excelling in every aspect. Not only did she possess beauty, compassion, and intelligence, but she had also transformed into a pro skier. While Dave knew then that together they would conquer the slopes of love for the rest of their lives ;)

Dave and Krystle are the ultimate travel buddies, always seeking their next thrill and making the most of life together! They've left footprints across the globe - from the wilds of Canada to the exotic shores of Thailand, Singapore, and Bali, to the tropical paradise of Hawaii and the majestic landscapes of 15 US National Parks. Dave's encouragement and Krystle's fearless persistence has empowered her to conquer incredible feats: climbing the iconic Half Dome, mastering the thrill of black diamond ski slopes in Jackson Hole, surviving the unique chaos of Burning Man, and sharing the waves with dolphins in Hawaii. Their journey together is an ongoing adventure, a love story that unfolds with every new horizon they explore.
